As a Project Manager you will gather and document requirements, complete project plan development and resource planning and management.

This is a contract role, including full benefits and the possibility of extension.

Location: Madison, WI

Please Note:  You must live in Wisconsin and be vaccinated or agree to and comply with weekly COVID testing in order to be considered for this position.

You Will:

  • Design, plan and coordinate work teams
  • Create project charter and work plan and track budget and schedule progress
  • Establish project organization and methodologies
  • Define roles and responsibilities
  • Gather and document business requirements with the team
  • Document risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Manage scope
  • Create and implement communication plan

You Will Have:

  • 11+ years of IT experience
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience
  • Experience managing or leading an IT technical team of up to 10 or more staff
  • Business analysis skills – Requirements gathering, documentation and analyzing business requirements
  • Project status tracking, milestone and management of risks
  • Project plan development, resource planning and management
  • Application development experience including design, coding, testing, implementation and support
  • 5+ years of RFI and RFP creation and evaluation

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, DB2, GIS, JavaScript and/or HTML
  • Supporting enterprise applications for a large organization
  • Management of large projects
  • Experience partnering with business clients to formulate solutions using modern tools (DevOps)
  • Knowledge of relational data base concepts (DB2, Oracle)
  • Experienced working with various methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.
  • Change Management experience
