Job Description

Are you an ETL developer with experience with Informatica, and ideally Python? Are you looking to join a great company with a great team? If so, then this role may be for you!

As an ETL Developer, you will utilize your ETL development experience to perform ETL/ELT functions for new/existing sources and collaborate with others for pipeline development. You’ll also perform data profiling and data analysis to assist in data understanding in addition to optimizing data models through normalization, table analysis, and query reviews.

For this role, you’ll utilize Informatica development tools to create/modify integrations for various projects.

This is a Contract role, including full benefits and possibility of extension.

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, innovative solutions to extract, transform, and move data
  • Present outcomes of analytic models in an easy-to-understand format
  • Conduct requirement gathering with business stakeholders/users to roadmap project activities
  • Assess the validity of data and achieve minimum levels of quality
  • Gather and compile data using various data collection techniques, responding to data requests
  • Create code or GUI data mappings following company data standards/approaches

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CIS, Software Development, analytics, operations research, Computer Science
  • 4 years of experience in coding, ETL development/engineering, analytics, research or other related field
  • Experience with Informatica ETL/ELT tools like PowerCenter, BDM/DEI, IICS products
  • Experience working with big data environments like Hadoop, Oracle Exadata, Azure and/or Snowflake
  • SQL proficiency

 Desired Skills:

  • Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Python
  • Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
  • Data modeling experience using Erwin Data Modeling tool
  • Experience with Tidal job scheduling software
  • Development experience with Workday and/or in the HR domain
  • Working Python experience helpful
